This communication is to advise you that your Internet site http://home.earthlink.net/~landerfam/fonts.html
enables a font named "Times Screwed Roman" to be downloaded for free to those who visit your site. This font is based on the copyrighted font data for "Times New Roman" owned by The Monotype Corporation. Our typographers have confirmed that the data used to create your "Times Screwed Roman" font is a derivative work based upon the copyrighted "Times New Roman" font data. Your use of the data is an infringement of our copyrighted material. The Monotype Corporation hereby demands that you immediately cease and desist all further posting of its copyrighted property that is posted on your site. Further, we demand that you make a reasonable attempt to contact any person or web site that you know has downloaded and/or posted the infringing data and have them immediately remove or delete the data. Unless we receive confirmation by February 15, 2000 that you have ceased all distribution of the infringing material and made every effort to remedy the situation, we will take immediate legal action.
